Rome was our 7th and last city stop in our trip to Europe in 2013. This is one city that we truly love and enjoyed. Make sure you have comfortable shoes since you would need a lot of walking around this beautiful city.
Here are some of the places we visited during our 8 hours walkathon around the city.

Victor Emmanuel II Monument
Officially known as the Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II, the enormous white marble monument that dominates Piazza Venezia was built as a tribute to the first king of a united Italy, Victor Emmanuel II.
ROMAN RUINS INCLUDING THE COLOSSEUM
THE STREETS OF ROME
SPANISH STEPS & THE FAMOUS SHOPPING STREET OF VIA CONDOTTI (Beware of Gypsies at the SPanish Steps selling Friendship Bracelets. My son was one of their victims. It was good he didnt carry any money with him).
THE TREVI FOUNTAIN
THE PANTHEON
NEVER LEAVE ROME WITHOUT TRYING THEIR PIZZA,RISOTTO AND GELATO. My two boys tried both , Nygel ordered Risotto and Niles ordered Pizza.
During our trip to Rome and Vatican CIty, we stayed at the Rome Marriot Park Hotel
