TEHRAN (FNA)- Tehran's Provisional Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani underlined that Iran will never allow inspection of its military sites under the pretext of inspections by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) or as part of a final agreement with the world powers.

FARS News Agency: Senior Cleric: Iran May Never Allow Inspection of Military Sites

Addressing a large and fervent congregation of people on Tehran University campus on Friday, Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani pointed to Iran-Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) talks, and said, "The West, the US and (IAEA director general Yukiya) Amano are hallucinating."

"A US senator has said that striking a deal with Iran should accompany recognition of Israel," he added.

"We tell Mr. Amano, the westerners and the US that they should bury their dreams of recognition of Israel and also inclusion of the condition to visit Iran's military sites within the framework of nuclear agreement," he added.

On Wednesday, Iran's Envoy to the IAEA Reza Najafi stressed that none of the paragraphs of Iran-Powers nuclear understanding in Lausanne allows inspection of the country's military sites.

Update: Iranian ayatollah: U.S. ‘hallucinating’ about access to military nuke sites -- Washington Times

WNU Editor: Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani is known to be a hardliner .... in 2014, he threatened to “raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground” and target U.S. bases worldwide. But what is disturbing about the above FARS report is that it quotes Iran's Envoy to the IAEA Reza Najafi remarks that none of the paragraphs of Iran-Powers nuclear understanding in Lausanne allows inspection of the country's military sites. Is this true? And did the White House agree to this? But since these discussions and communiques are secret we do not know .... but if this report is true .... any Iranian nuclear deal will be worthless since international inspectors will be prohibited from entering certain locations.
